biopsy of lump in my breast

Can anyone out there help me? I had a mammagram and an ultrasound yesturday as my doctor was concerned about a lump. After doing these tests the doctor looking at the images decided I needed to have a biopsy done. She did a needle biopsy. I live in Vernon BC. Can anyone tell me how long I can expect it to take before I get the results back. It is really worrying me about it. Will my doctor call me or will the hospital? I hope someone can help me and put my mind at ease a little.

I needed to get strated cause it needed surgery, Others could be longer be I would call and asked the nurse Monday, And keep on them, I wish you the best, My prays are with you. Do you have any specialist in BC that work with just this. Also I would keep on the dr that you want to know right away, Do you have a support person there to help go with you.
