I recently read that broccoli sprouts contain 100 times more the ingredient to fight off free radicals and help prevent cancer.
So I recently started growing it - it's quick, easy, and cheap. You can grow them in a quart jar. I bought a regular sprout grower and seeds for $25 on line.
I didn't like the flavor of other sprouts, but the broccoli tastes pretty good. I use them in my salads, sandwiches, soups, etc.
