Diet by Wikipedia- Dieting is the practice of ingesting food in a regulated fashion to achieve or maintain a controlled weight. In most cases the goal is weight loss in those who are overweight or obese.

Diet is more than just moderate food consumption to lose weight and it’s more than just looking good in the mirror, a long-awaited scientific report on cancer prevention stated plain and simple that the more pounds you’re carrying, the greater your risk of developing one or more of 17 cancers. Moderated diet keeps you healthy even more so if you are already a cancer patient. Specially when treated by chemo and suffering from loss of appetite, feeling tired or nausea & vomiting a good nutritious diet can help you overcome those difficulties.

Jenny from the At least it’s a “good” cancer-blog writes about her diet plan that kept her healthy as can be during her hard times with cancer. She reveals in her post her diet plan and nutritious suggestion.

I also agree the better you eat the better we will feel fighting cancer. I eat well but still have weight gain from lymphedema. But even with lymphedema and breast cancer I feel better when I eat better and take care of myself. Water and salads is very important to me cause I also know having colonrectal cancer before it helps me to have less chance of recurrence. Good eating is a very important medicine to win the fight cancer.

Thanks Deborah, I also believe that you can do better fighting cancer with positive thinking, Saying each time you go to chemo or any cancer tests, Saying I can beat this cancer! And that helped me to feel better even when I was just done with chemo. So you can beat cancer if you keep a good and positive I can win thoughts! Take care.
