Just found a couple great sites for finding free access to medical journals.
http://www.freemedicaljournals.com/ (note, some of these are free trials) http://www.coreynahman.com/medical_information.html

The www.coreynahman.com also has lots of links to other medical stuff, like drug databases. Such as links to new drugs from the
FDA. Here's one about cancer: http://www.coreynahman.com/cancer.html

I have been using a great reference resource in Ontario Canada for drugs- here it is: www.healthyontario/english/drug_detail
Includes drug name, commercial name, possible side effects, contraindications, etc. etc. Good luck...
