I am 45,female and just discovered tonight a hard small lump under my left nipple and it is very tender to touch. the rubbing of my tee shirt against my skin made me aware of it. I am going to see the doc as soon as I can get in. I have had 10 major surgeries due to a head-on collision 8yrs ago and I heard that ones chances of getting cancer increases with surgeries. I don't smoke and I am not overweight or underweight. I am not able to exercise like I used to due to 2 spine surgeries and 2 hip surgeries. I try to eat healthy and grow a garden every year and can our veggies. We grow our own beef and chickens and have fresh farm eggs.
I am on oxycodone for pain and I have been on stronger meds but have cut down. After my lower back surgery 3yrs ago, they went through my stomach and moved things to the side to work on my spine, ever since then my cycle has been totally messed up and this month I been cycling for a month now and no signs of stopping yet.

Welcome maemaebaer. You need the test(s) that only a Doctor can do to discover what the lump is (it might be just a cyst or a milk gland infection). You have been through a LOT! Sometimes bad things hit people in waves (coming in and going away time and again). Me too. I had spinal surgery (laminectomy)due to an accident (I was paralyzed from the waist down for 6 years because of the accident), have a pacemaker, and recently this breast cancer.
There is an old saying "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger". Well if this is really true - them both of us should single-handedly be able to lift a car by now. ;-D
Here is a test to find out whether or not your mission on Earth is finished: If you're alive, it isn't.
