I am new

Dear New Friends, I am a new person in your family learning to deal with all the side affects from having IDC breast cancer stage 3 in 2005. And now I have lymphedema. I work with a group online the helps each other out, Lymphland.com < It is good, But I want to learn more about breast cancer side affects and helping my friend threw more easier. Thanks Hansa for the nice welcome I am getting nervous about Monday. I see the Cancer Dr, I had a Thyroid scan almost 2 weeks ago and they didnt call(2small tumors and 2 cyst) and I made an appt with a throat specialist that has taken a pre cancer mole off my neck. When I told my cancer nurse, She asked why her dr wasnt seeing me about the test. And I have an appt I believe Monday. I get so tired of fighting the medical insurances ways! Debbie, if you didn't get a phone call it should be OK. Don't work yourself up. That's not good given the condition. Although I understand that's easier said than done.

Hamsa Thank you again, I found out yesterday I lost a friend with cancer and some else I know his brain cancer is back!{Feel-bad-0002009F} Why.... I need to try and keep focused on the good til Tuesday, If anyone has any suggestion on swelling of throat(not sore) Please let me know. Thanks, Debbie

Yes, that must be very difficult for you - especially at a time like this. I am sorry to hear about your friends... But Debbie, just another 24 hours now and your doctor's appointment is there. Still keeping my fingers crossed

Thanks Hamsa, I am doing better today but I think I am on a high like when I found out about my cancer! I just cant stop. I think I will be alot better knowing theres support for anyway it goes. I put on my lymphedema outfit, full body, And feel like a can of tuna today. HA HA{Nature-0002009D}Luv Debbie

The Dr found more tumors, but doesnt think they are cancer , As I get more I wish he would byosy. I ask about the breathing and voice loss and told me to take my asthma meds. My swelling underarm and down almost to my lung.I look bigger. I go in Friday for Cat Scan test I wish I could have all those tumors and csyts lasered out so I wont have to keep hearing more. Debbie that's good news. I am happy for you!! Didn't he advise something could be done for those tumours to disappear?

I went and ask and found out from a nurse that my cancer Dr wont be there too much longer. Maybe thats why his waiting so long. I have been having a sore spot on my lower part of my lung. Its round and hard to see cause of the lymphedema. What would you do with the sore spot on one lung? If Tinas here, Guess what! you special. Well I will be back I am going to rest. Love, Debbie
