I have a knot in my breast i have had it now for 4 years, and i went to the doctor today, and i always get my yearly exam, but today was different i have been to the doctor every year for 5 years and they never said anything about that knot, but today they told me i need to get an ultersound i just wonder why they never said anything before i don't know what to think is it serious or not i don't know im so very worried.. Have any answers for me???

I understand how scared you feel right now. This is very normal. It will be hard waiting as you go through whatever testing or such that your Doctor needs to do to diagnose you. There is no way that I can tell from a posting, what is going on. But I will tell you what I did, while waiting, was to pamper myself. I treated myself by buying a few books that I had been wanting to read. I figured that if I needed surgery, I would have them to pass the time while recovering, and they gave me something to look forward to (reading them). And if I didn't need surgery, I deserved them for the stress.
