I have just been recently diagnosed with invasive ductal breast cancer. I was shocked. I have no risk factors but have been using the pill for 20 years or so. I was just wondering how many other women are long term users and have breast cancer. I have been told there is no link, though read many articles that could link this. If we knew how many of us that been on the pill for many years and developed breast cancer without any risk factors maybe the medical world would take notice! Why did not someone tell me to stop it. I am 40 years old and been on since I was 17 due to irregular periods, stopping to have my children and back on it again. I hope someday we will really know the truth so our daughters can make an educated decision!

Dear Friend, I was on the pill for the same reason and after my female surgrey I was taken off of them, I think there is alot of things that do help bring on breast cancer. But we dont have enough proof. Welcome again and may you find peace with each day of your fight to win. Take care, Debbie
