Lung Nodes

I don't post too often but read every day. I can't tell you how helpful you all have been.

My cat scan showed a 4mm node on my right lung. So far I haven't been dx'd with any metastasis's but I did have 2 lymph nodes involved.

Apparently nothing is done until it reaches 5mm so I'm off for another scan on June 21st. =20

Has this happened to anyone else. I'm freaking out a little over this

My wife Deborah and I have been fooling around with lung mets for almost five years. I imagine your oncologist will keep an eye on things for awhile - and things aren't really serious until he says they are

Herceptin put my wife in remission for more than two years - but it's not for everybody. She's not in remission now but is getting good response from the same drugs that put her in remission in the first place.

days. My wife's disease is at about the same stage it was five years ago - and life is still good.

A BC friend of mine is having issues with numbness in her feet...to make a long story short she had a MRI/CT that showed that she had a single lesion small I don't remember the size. Initially she was told she would be rescanned in 3-6 months since that thought it was benign.
She wasn't happy with that and had a biopsy which is not cancerous.
She found out after the biopsy that they knew it wasn't cancer single usually lung mets doesn't present in a single tumor. She also has lobular BC.
