lymphedema in hollow of neck

Has anyone had lymphedema in the hollow of your neck? I had lymphedema in my left arm after lymphnode dissection and it backs up at times into my neck area. Just wondering if I am the only one. Thanks for any help.

Hi Donna, You are not alone with the neck. I have that problem too. Its scarey sometimes for me cause I have thyroid tumors there also. Please just take care and see if you get too much swelling see if it could be a second thing too, like asthma or gland problem. Good luck, I know its not fun, Take care, Debbie

Hi Donna, No, They say they dont look like cancer and wont cover it, Even though theres more of them on both sides( one side 5 to 7 small ones My dad had thyroid cancer) I dont understand our medical field! I am very sad that the medical coverage has cut back its care. I wish you the best and may you find peace in your fight. Hi Donna, I was thimking about you and wondering how you are doing, I am still fighting to get help with the lymphedema. I am praying our new US President does not cut back on our help for lymphedema. Like so say if we lost the weight, If we didnt have lymphedema we would not have as much weight. Hi Donna, I will have my thyriod tumors checked by a Ear nose and throat Dr this month. I am praying he will take them out and help my breathing better. Happy New Year! Hugs Debbie
