should i see a oncologist before a mastectomy??
The consultant running my local breast clinic is a general surgeon with an interest in breast surgery, not an oncologist. Does this matter? Thanks for any advice.
It really depends on the doctor. Here in Portland, Oregon, my 3 main doctors - surgical oncologist, oncologist, and radiology oncologist will order them.
