Hello Eunice, Did your Dr. give you a choice, or did you just hear of the 2 forms of treatment?
This is a very complex question, and I won't play expert here. But I do know that treatment depends on the age/size of the tumor, if lymphnodes are involved, and the percentage in the sample, is the cancer agressive or slow growing? ETC......
Your Dr. has a treatment plan customized to your particular needs. With this type of question, you need to have a consultation and get your questions answered. Just ASK. (Do what I do, write the questions down, so that you get them all covered, and it will be easier for the Dr.)
