How many of you think that cancer can be awesome? well, maybe not awesome but see it upsides. Kelly Bergin young adult survivor Papillary Carcinoma diagnosed, January 2008 has that kind of bright and optimistic attitude i wish we could all have.
Reading her post on the stupid cancer-blog about the benefits of being a teen with cancer made me smile, she is something spacial.
People don’t think cancer has upsides. But it totally does. I was lucky to have cancer during my birthday season (my birthday deserves a season. I had cancer) Do you know how many extra gifts I got?? My parents freakin’ sent me to St. Maarten for Chrissakes! With my boyfriend!
