No.10 I lost 10 pounds.
No. 9 I read several books.
No. 8 I got lots of emails, cards and presents.
No. 7 I had eight months off with disability.

No. 3 I met strong,insiring women.

And the No.1 reason why having cancer is not completely horrible is....that the people who loved me told me so.
An extra one is not having to shave your leg any underarms for a pretty long time.

I loved this post. I would add: I learned a lot about myself, and: I found out how strong I really am.

I have some side effects from the chemo, But I love each day and love to laugh. God bless you both and hope to see you on-line more. (with a laugh or two) Love,Debbie

Thanks for your post. Sometimes you must keep life in perspective. I lost my mother just a few months before I found a lump. She was a nurse so she had always been there to turn to. Now I feel I am sort of out there on my own. Dad prays for me and tries to be supportive, but he is still trying to deal with my mother's death like the rest of us. The best news we had was my son came home from his 4th combat tour and now is out of the USMC. Thank God for miracles.
